Our library project became a reality in 2013 when the building project was completed and the first students could start using the library at the high school – the only library in the communities of the Dwars River Valley where Kylemore is situated.
Libraries have always played an important role in education. Students now have the resources to research school projects and develop a love of reading. The objective of the library is to produce competent and confident learners who are equipped for the demands of high school.
The library also plays an informal role in the community where many children need a safe recreational and educational space to improve the quality of childhood, and general chances for success in life.
