Every year Imbali partners with Thomas and Steffi Curry of Lebenslinien e.V. to allow as many as 10 specially selected young people to complete the internationally recognised City & Guilds Service Course at the Institute of Culinary Arts (ICA) in Kylemore.

The diploma programme teaches the basic craft skills of Food & Beverage operations as well as the Management Skills necessary in this dynamic and growing industry. There is equal emphasis on both academic and practical aspects. On completion of the course, students may decide to gain further experience in top kitchens or are able to succeed in a junior management position at home or abroad. This qualification is internationally recognized and is strongly favoured by the local and international hospitality industry.

A contribution of R20 000 (€1500) per annum covers the fees for one student to attend the course; or offers a job opportunity.
